Resilience: A Life Preserving and Enhancing Skill

Description: Resilience is the ability to survive and thrive in stressful situations, both personally and professionally. With this training, you will learn to identify resilience characteristics, develop personal and team resiliency and practice implementing resiliency skills.

Objectives:  As a result of attending this program participants will:

  1. Understand the nature and function of resiliency
  2. Recognize their own resiliency strengths and challenges
  3. List at least three general ways to increase resiliency
  4. Identify at least two personal behaviors to increase one’s own resiliency

Trainer: Arnold C. Farley, Ph.D., Organizational Consultant, Licensed Psychologist & Executive Coach, is an expert in human behavior, program and organization development, and wellness with over 35 years of professional experience (over 20 years in federal government). His outstanding skills in assessing an organization’s needs, facilitating change and leadership development will holistically enhance individual, team and organizational performance. Assisting in the generation of new ideas, plans, relevant options and effective results for organizational and personal growth, Dr. Farley will improve operations and enhance relationships in your personal and professional life.
