I am an empathic, compassionate, and highly motivated licensed clinical social worker with 19 years of clinical experience working with substance abuse disorders, and with the persistently and chronically mentally ill population. My expertise is well grounded in co-occurring disorders, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

I have a strong ability to engage individuals who are skeptical and uncertain about therapy, and I have exceptional assessment and counseling skills for individuals with co-occurring disorders. I am committed to providing quality services to all my clients as they become all they can be.

Dr. Nisha Sachdev is a licensed psychologist skilled in therapy and psychoeducational assessment working with young adults and adults. She completed her Doctor of Psychology and Doctor of Public Health at the George Washington University.

Knowing that each individual is unique, Nisha’s therapeutic style encompasses a blend of techniques that are tailored to fit your specific needs and capitalizes on your strengths. Caroline H. Sparks, PhD, MA, is a Licensed Psychologist in Maryland who specializes in behavior change for wellness. She has a long history of treating people with anxiety and/or phobic fears, as well as those with PTSD or who are survivors of sexual assault. She works to help clients achieve their highest potential for mental health wellness by taking a positive, motivational approach to changing problem behaviors. Dr. Sparks works with individuals or small groups, and can meet with clients outside the office with phobic fears that limit their mobility.
